Is it just me, or has the archive not been updated since June of last year?

Nope, not just you. Don't remember the name of the guy who had it running, but he was doing it alone and I think the poor fellow got overwhelmed with work and other RL stuff. So it's been just kinda stagnating for a while. 'UncleKai', I think his username was. There used to be a thread on the archive - before the boards went 'kaput' - again.

That blows. If it weren't for the fact that I don't have enough time resulting from RL conflicts, I'd volunteer. Hell, I'd even be willing to do it part time, so long as nobody chewed me out for being slow and/or lagging behind.

I have the time to help out, but would probably need to be taught the how-to of it all first. =D For the love of KiGo, yo'! I think that if we had a team of sorts, instead of leaving it to just poor UncleKai, it would help immensely. I have the time to do the heavy lifting, I think, and then with you to help we could get started! ...if I knew where to start, that is. >.<

UncleKai began and maintained the Kim Possible Slash Archive for personal reasons. Any and all updates are at his whim, though he has always been quite on the ball with maintaining a static backup of stories on his local drives. His turnaround time has been drastically increased with his most recent work position.

The Archive is not dead. It is merely hibernating.

i am totally happy i decided to read this.... i was just about to post something asking bout the archive.... lol funny thing tho... like 2 months or so ago... i was like "oh it was updated in june so iy should be updated again soon!" and i fricking checked the updates page every day....for like.... weeks.... then i saw the year.... and was like "WTF!!!!!!??????". yea i was depressed....

when you say hibernating do you mean like a bear for a season or like a tortoise that can hibernate for a decade?

Only a thousand? Man, and here I thought it was ten or twelve times that...

lol i did notice he wrote a lot

But in the meantime, we're pining for the fjords new fics.

*Sigh* Complaints there aren't enough good stories coming in. Complaints I'm too prolific... Of course, I'm making the assumption that people like my stuff. Maybe the point was, "We're pining for new fics and all we're getting is that KiY ****."
